Attitude

As i was attending church today and while the preacher was preaching, not knowing a word that the pastor preach, i read a bookmark that is in my Bible. This is what is written in it....
  • Attitude is a choice! Jeff Keller
  • The major difference between achieving people and average people is their attitude of and response to failure. John C. Maxwell
  • A great attitude is not the result of success; success is the result of a great attitude. Earl Nightingale
  • Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. Ephesians 4:23-24
  • Your attitude is an expression of your values, beliefs and expectations. Brian Tracy
  • It is not what happens to you that determines how far you go in life; it is what you do with what happens to you. Zig Ziglar
  • Our attitude at the beginning of a task will affect its outcome more than anything else. John C. Maxwell
  • Four little words sum up what has lifted most successful individuals above the crowd: 'a little bit more.' They did all that was expected of them and a little bit more. Lou Vickery

As i was reflecting on those words, it gave me an understanding that we can choose what attitude we want to have. It is a choice of how we would react to any situation.

After reflecting on it, this is the attitude that i want to achieve...

  • Never get angry anymore - in every situation, we can choose to see things in different perspective, we have our self control so is time to gear up my self control and use it, it is the fruit of the Spirit afterall, it is in us...

Not that i alwys get angry, in fact i think i seldom unless something strike me seriously but still i want myself to have the self control to control my anger during those serious time that strike me.. but one thing i notice, i will get angry at dl more often... hehehe, maybe he is closer to me but anyhow, i will learn and have good attitude.

'Father Lord, help me to have beautiful attitude. Amen.'
